Recently a more famous urban homesteader I has had some tribulations due to her farming activities.
She got popped for selling ... wait for it, let it simmer, exhale ... selling chard.
Seems that her raising rabbits for food may have sparked the dime being dropped to Oakland's code man.
An act of food terrorism.

Codes everywhere regarding raising and selling food have got to change!
ReplyDeleteI do hope the folks so upset about her rabbit meat operation are at least vegans; if not, they are huge hypocrites unless they think all the animals whose meat they consume are lovingly put down by the slaughterhouses...
I agree Chili, these laws aren't working.
ReplyDeleteAs to the bunny narcs well I'd write more but for all intents & purposes I no longer consume the 3rd white meat.
