Shrugging my shoulders right now free food is winning out.pelenakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09486662453316027558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8160942949010085255.post-63708260147025271972011-05-19T04:23:59.924-04:002011-05-19T04:23:59.924-04:00On the delivery vs. pick-up CO2 footprint debate, ...On the delivery vs. pick-up CO2 footprint debate, from what I have read, it depends...If you shop for lots of stuff at a time from one store (for example Costco) then it's comparable, but depends on how far you drive. If it's delivered through a normal package service (for example UPS), then the CO2 is spread out over all the other packages. In my opinion, if you are a conscious driver, and avoid lots of small car trips, the impact is about equal, maybe weighted slightly towards the mail-order side.

How do you make refried beans? I only ever had the stuff from the can (or in restaurants) and can't get canned refried beans here (Germany). I would love to make some. Especially since, strangely enough, I found a guy here who makes fresh corn tortillas from fresh masa, though I have to order them mail-order. Not Puerto Rican, I know, but made me really hanker for some refried beans.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007755553132735628noreply@blogger.com
